Update for 2024 Foundations of Western Herbalism Registration!

We are no longer accepting applications for our 2024 Foundations of Western Herbalism program. We will be opening up our application process for the 2025 cohort sometime in the fall.

Foundations of Western Herbalism

Applications are now being accepted for 2024!

Our Foundations of Western Herbalism Curriculum is designed to immerse both the beginner and intermediate herbalist in the basic knowledge needed to provide herbal care for themselves and their family. In doing this, we provide a grounded, well-rounded western herbal program to evolve and take into the student’s home and community.

This intermediate program provides students with a strong base to continue exploring the fascinating world of herbalism, and provides a space in which one can continue to immerse themselves in this field within a small class setting. This is comprised of eight weekend intensives. Attendance to all eight is required for completion and progression into the Advanced/Clinical Western Herbalist program. Western Herbalism 101 is a pre-requisite for Foundations of Western Herbalism.

Some of the topics covered:

  • Plant Spirit Medicine

  • Energetics

  • Diagnostics

  • Bioregionalism

  • Materia Medica associated with each body system

  • Client Intake

  • The properties of over 200 herbs

TIME COMMITTMENT

The entire program covers 125+ classroom hours.

Class is held one weekend a month from 10am to 5pm. (Dates are subject to change)

***Must attend all classes to move into Advanced Program***
